the honest truth

ambition comes from the depth of our souls.

sometimes the soul is damage, broken or in pain. that abnormality can cause the mind to shift, to want to create something spectacular to bring the life back into us.

its almost been a year since I lost my number one companion. Raymer, my first dog.

he was the best boy. he loved attention. he loved love! he wanted it all. he was a healer. a real soul healer.

he loved without measure.

it's been years since he left this world, I'm still grieving. it comes and goes like waves on a beach. some days its stronger than others.

why is this important?

he always made me want to be better. a better dog mother. a better person. a better leader.

he taught me that one person can't always heal all but there is positivity in the dark, we just have to find it.

every day i wake up grateful now. i am grateful to have known such a beautiful soul. his love makes me appreciate the grace in others.

this hurt has pushed to me to find more, to be more, to give more. that is how this practice came to be. every day is a new journey.

find your joy. find your happiness. and if you have someone who loves you without conditions, hold them tight, often and with everything you have. you never know when they'll be gone.

Raymer may be gone physically, but he'll love forever in my heart.
